St. Valentine was a Roman priest who was martyred because he refused to deny Christ to the emporer Claudius II in the year 280 A.D.  He was first arrested because he was caught marrying Christian couples.  Helpinig Christians at this time was considered a crime.  His feast day became February 14th and eventually evolved into what we now know as St. Valentines Day.  Now that the real history lesson is out of the way...Where's my little cupid, the real master of love! Aren't these vintage Valentines gorg?!
