Taj Tip

Hi dolls, you wonderful glamazons! So I need to bring up a very important topic that has been on my mind the last week. Hands.
I've seen some really gorgeous women lately with incredible bodies, but then I  look at their hands and see how aged and neglected they are skin wise.  There are times when I see women's hands and it's pretty disturbing. Not only does it age you immediately, it is not a pretty sight to behold. If  you are meticulous about the care of your face and neck and hopefully you are! Then, please don't stop there, remember to care for your precious hands.

Regardless of age, it's a good idea to use a hand lotion or creme with at least an spf 15 on them every time you go outside. Keep one in your purse. I've seen 40 year olds with 60+ year old looking hands and it's because they have brown spots and wrinkles! Not glamorous! The skin on your hands is actually pretty delicate and thin, so be sure to keep them moisturized with a good  rich hand creme before you go to sleep at night. What does it matter to spend $40 on a beautiful manicure and then never take care of the skin on your hands?

If you have brown spots already, don't worry it's not too late for you either. But start using spf right away!!There are many good ligtening  lotions that can reduce the appearance of the sun's damage.

Remember, the hands often show us the first signs of aging!

Here are my suggestions:

Philosophy's Hope Oil-free spf 30 Moisturizer
It is infused with multiple antioxidants for superior
protection against environmental attack and visible signs of aging

Perfect size for a purse!

Available at sephora.com and you can get 15% off this week!
$38  minus 15% Use code: MADNESS by 4/19

Boots No7 Spf 15 Protect and Perfect Hand Creme
Reduces the appearance of fine lines and evens
out skin tone in just 2 weeks. In 4 weeks, age spots start to fade.

Available at Target and Drugstore.com $13
I recommend this even if you don't have age spots

One of my all-time favorite brands is Eucerin.
My mother used this on us from a very
young age and I have no complaints about my skin.

Eucerin Everyday Protection Body Lotion UVA+UVB spf 15
This antioxident enriched lotion is my favorite body lotion with spf for daily usage.
I recommend this for whole body application.

Available at most drugstores and at drugstore.com
$10 or less

Palmer's Cocoa Butter w/vitamin E SPF 8
Now this isn't a spf 15 like I would prefer,
but I wanted to include this hand creme as a
great moisturizer on the cheap at only $4.99!
And with an spf 8, you are still getting some protection.

Available at most drugstores and drugstore.com

Aveno Continuous Protection Lotion spf 85
Now this is a lot of coverage! Aveno caters to
people with sensitive skin issues and this small bottle would fit easily in a purse.

Available at Target and most drugstores
$10

There are many other great products out there,
just get one in your purse asap if you don't have one already!!
Apply to tops of hands and it's that simple.
Beautiful hands in no time. Keep it glam. xoxo

you can see the real age of a person through their hands. That's true. We sometimes neglect our hands and feet.

that's quite helpful! i don't take good care of my skin... I have really good skin luckily, but this scares me that I don't do enough preventative stuff! I'm definitely gonna hit up Target for one of those! :)

I love creams and lotions! I spend soo much money on them. It's not even funny. In the starting my husband didn't understand why I needed a tube in every nook-and-corner of the house but now he is addicted too ;)

I love you for posting this because hands are one of the very first things I notice about a person. I am definitely doing everything I can to make my hands age gracefully!! :)

Argh! If only I could remember to put sunscreen on my hands! I do moisturize them, though, and my little trick - I rub plain old Vaseline into my cuticles at night, works wonders! Great post!

Have a fabulous day, and if you haven't had a chance yet, pop by and check out my Catherine Deneuve giveaway! XO!

I know what you mean with the whole hands thing as I try to use lotion everyday. Sometimes I can tell a woman's age simply by looking at her skin too.

I try and take care of my skin and am actually a skincare junkie !!! Great product reviews luv ;)
