You Must Not Know Bout Me

Have you ever had something pretty awful happen to you in the middle of your parade? Like a loss of a job, a cheating man, a really bad test score, a jealous friend, a car crash, an illness...you get my point. Have you ever noticed that these things seem to happen right when you thought everything was going so perfect? What I love about life is when you see some strong soul going thru a difficult time and they don't deny it, no, to the contrary! They lean right into it and defy the gravity of the situation to become an overcomer of it. They stand against the giant, whatever that may be, and in the face of it, they say to the giant: "You won't break me!"  It's humbling to see such greatness in a person. Instead of a pity party or a depressed outlook on life, they take up on wings of eagles and soar above our expectations. Do you know someone going thru a trying time? Why don't you call them up and take them out to lunch just because or send them a special note of love. Or maybe you are facing a hard task right now in your own life. And if so, I'm pretty sure if you are reading this, you are one of the strong souls I'm writing about. The kind that stand firmly against the giant and conquer your destiny. And that is greatness.  xoxo

And now on to my new girl crush Bianca... ;) Keep it Glam

It's true-tough times seem to start at the moment you're feeling your best, but there's nothing to do but put your head up, find strength and eat ice cream. Wonderful post.

Great post to think about over the weekend. Facing challenges and hardships makes us stronger, however having hair like Bianca's might help too!! Just kidding :-)

Wow! She is great. Her face is so unforgettable.
I fit the bill on the kind of person you have described. Going through a lot in life and trying to grin and bear it. So I guess I will just take myself out for dinner tonight.

Have a great weekend!

It seems to be the month for it... best thing to do is stand on your metal mountain and roar at that which dares try to defeat you. I mean... as if!!!

Greatness in those words Taj.

Now... to Bianca.... sigh... if only she was not such a lollipop!! That face! Oh dear God. she is a Goddess!!

I love what you wrote, very motivational. If you wrote this for a friend going through a difficult time, then you are the best darn friend eva!!! And if it is written on your own life experience, then your amazing and positive energy can get through anything!
