Hostess with the Mostess

Hi dolls, how was your Thanksgiving? I made a turkey and all the trimmings this year for the very first time by myself. My husband helped of course, and we made a great team serving ten people. Preparing the menu, shopping, cleaning the house, decorating the tablescapes, lighting candles, cooking from start to finish and orchestrating it all while looking glam is a lot of work!  But everytime I pull off a dinner I get a little bit better each time and I have to admit, it can be a little addicting being a hostess! Did you cook? Any good shopping this weekend? xoxo

hey how exciting your first time cooking for the fam! i am looking forward to those days. despite being super sweet in a lot of ways, our apt is too small for a giant get together. i do cook for the bf though! we have a fake thanksgiving early to celebrate together lol. you should post pictures of your cooking! lol i know your blog is all fashion & beauty, but i would be so interested in seeing :) i got some killer deals @ gap this weekend. waited for TWO hours but it was worth it. hope you had a wonderful time. be seeing you around! update me on your life.

I cooked dinner for 6 but only 2 of us were eating-we're still enjoying leftover sandwiches, though!

So glad your Thanksgiving was a triumph! And these shots are absolutely divine autumn inspiration!

How ambitious of you to serve 10 on your first go at making a Thanksgiving dinner! I wasn't feeling well that day, so I mainly just slept. Sad, because I had a whole menu planned to cook with my mom, but she's a rock star and did most of it by herself!

Definitely glamorous!

I am on the opposite end of style- kind of cutesy, kitschy, quirky.
But how pretty is this photo shoot!
