My Glam Dresser Makeover

Hi dolls! Remember that dresser I talked about here that I got at the thrift store? Here are some before and after pics of the makeover that I did on it! I am so pleased with the sleek and chic look! I love black and white (actually I'm cray cray over it!) so I wanted a black lacquer finish with white hardware.  Tell me what I should do with the two middle drawers, should I keep the same white knobs or use the handles? I'm not sure yet...please help! At $100 for the paint, hardware and the dresser it's not too shabby! I hope I inspire you to take up a glam project of your own too! xoxo

(Before....eeek!)

(Trust me, it wasn't pretty, but it's a solid piece & well made)

(....After)

(Theese pictures don't do the black lacquer justice! It's so shiny and gorgeous!)

Glimpses of my boudoir...

(A Serving Dish that I turned into a Ring Holder)

( I Collect Perfume Bottles and I love this one from Victoria's Secret)

(A Frou Frou Lamp that Sits on My Dresser Now)

 (A Precious Antique Jewelry Box)

(My favorite Jo Malone - English Pear and Freesia
these are actually on the Director's side of the dresser,
I think he has about 10 bottles of Jo Malone that bratt!)

 (A Jar Full of Bangles)

(Another Lamp Who Likes to Wear Ladylike Jewelry ;)

I totally vote for the keeping the handles. I think they add a wonderful vintage feel and also you keep most of the integrity of the piece. What a great job you did painting it!! I totally did the same thing with a dish for jewelry. I use all sorts of stuff!! lol You are so creative and you have some amazing treasures! Thank you for your sweet comment. Kiah
