Inspiration

Taj! Our minds are running along the same lines. I too am considering the color palette I want. Since the home is on the water, I wanted to bring in touches of my favorite color, a pale pale blue-green, here and there in my neutral palette. I'm painting my breakfast room a color that I've used before in the past and love. It's called Icing on the Cake from Benjamin Moore. I have white trim throughout the house and white beadboard moldings on the lower portion of the breakfast room walls. This color of blue makes me happy, feels light as air when the sun hits it. I will then bring in touches of the same color in my neutral living room by placing a 24" band of the same color at the bottom of neutral drapes and then in my dining room I plan on placing tiny shades on my crystal chandelier in the same pale blue-green. I used the color in my kitchen before and it looked so pretty with the white marble. It seemed perfect for this house, as it's on the water. Can't wait to hear all of your decor details, Taj! I left you a DM regarding what I did to remove wallpaper, did you get it? xoxo
