DIY: Necklace for Mom & Giveaway with # RegaloDeAmorPampers

I have a fun and easy DIY keepsake necklace for Mom or Abuela that is super fun to make!
I love receiving thoughtful gifts that are made from the heart and I know most moms do too!
This DIY is super inexpensive and easy.
The fun part is designing something and getting creative while having
fun making a unique piece for your loved ones!

You will only need a few things for this keepsake necklace. Scissors, hot glue gun, beads, paper
flowers and ribbon. All of which you can find at a Michael's.  I also used some vintage earrings
that I found at a thrift store for a few dollars. I thought they would just add something special and
unique.
I had a lot of fun picking out the ribbon. You can really find pretty patterns. Make sure it's soft, thin
ribbon.  Measure it around your neck and leave extra to be able to tie a bow for the closure. About 6 inc.
Start adding your beads.  I chose contrasting colors for a pop. Also make sure when
you are choosing beads that they have a bigger hole for the ribbon to easily slide thru.
For the vintage earrings, I just removed the clasps on the pink ones. Then I easily slid it onto
the ribbon.
This is where you can be creative & have fun adding beads.

To make the necklace extra special, I took a paper flower and a metallic gold pen and wrote
my daughter's name on it. Then I glued it to the end of the ribbon. You could also write the year.
I also made one with a different style ribbon & vintage earrings. Once you get started on these
I'm telling you they are so fun and easy to make!
This earring was already missing a back so I just glued it right on.
I took some pearls and placed them where I wanted to hot glue them.
They turned out so perfect! You don't need a clasp because
you can just tie them on into a bow!

We celebrated at home together as a family. My son in law cooked chicken breasts, corn, and asparagus on the grill and it was delicious!
